Assistant Director of Trial Court

Andrea Austin has worked for over two decades as a prosecutor. She started her career at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where she tried homicides, hardcore gang cases, child abuse cases, sexual assaults, and general felonies for over ten years.

At the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, she has worked for over ten years in the Trial Court Division, where she has tried homicides, sexual assaults, and general felonies as the Team Lead of both the 167^th & the 390^th District Courts. She is currently the Assistant Director in the Trial Court Division.
