Holly Taylor currently serves as Assistant Director for Post-Conviction Matters and Complex Litigation Support for the Civil Rights Division of the Travis County District Attorney’s Office.

She previously worked as a staff attorney and the Rules Attorney for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. She served as an adjunct professor of advanced legal writing for the University of Texas School of Law.

She received her master’s degree from the University of Texas L.B.J. School of Public Affairs and her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, receiving the Dean’s Achievement Award in international law. She is Board certified in Criminal Appellate Law, a Texas Bar College member, and has been admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court.
