Michelle R. Hallee
Assistant Direct of Special Victims Division

Michelle R. Hallee is the Assistant Direct of the Special Victims Division.  Michelle received her B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1987. She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1991.

Michelle has been practicing criminal law in Travis County for over 30 years. She began her career as a defense attorney and came to the District Attorney’s Office in 2009. Michelle has held many positions at the DA’s office, including trial court prosecutor, child abuse prosecutor, and Lead of the Mental Health Unit.

She was awarded the Criminal Justice Award from the Travis County Women Lawyer’s Association in 2016. Michelle currently assists Director Erin Martinson in managing the Special Victims Division.
