Travis County Jury Convicts Man of Two Counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and One Count of Indecency with a Child by Contact
Travis County, TX — On Thursday, October 9, 2025, a Travis County jury convicted Jenner Ramirez, 28, of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and one count of Indecency with a Child by Contact.
For Mr. Ramirez’s trial, jury selection started on Monday, October 6, 2025, and testimony began the following day. On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the jury deliberated and found him guilty oftwo counts ofAggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and one count of Indecency with a Child by Contact, but not guilty of a separate count of Indecency with a Child by Contact.
On Friday, October 10, 2025, the jury sentenced him to serve 99 years for each of his Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child convictions and 15 years for his Indecency with a Child by Contact conviction in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. All of Mr. Ramirez’s sentences will run concurrently.
On July 11, 2024, the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mr. Ramirez, and he was later transferred to Travis County and charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. On September 22, 2025, Mr. Ramirez was subsequently reindicted in preparation for his trial.
Assistant District Attorneys Cindy Izquierdo and John Castro presented the case against Mr. Ramirez with the support of Victim Counselor Alexandra Hardwick, Investigators Kerry Scanlon and Mike Henderson, Paralegal Miguel Rodriguez, and Legal Secretary Brianna Rhoton. Austin Police Department’s Sergeant Valentin De Los Santos investigated Mr. Ramirez’s case.
