Travis County Jury Convicts Christopher Taylor of Deadly Conduct
Travis County, TX — On Saturday, October 5, 2024, a Travis County jury convicted Christopher Taylor, 32, of Deadly Conduct.
For Mr. Taylor’s trial, jury selection started on Monday, September 23, 2024, and testimony began on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The jury started deliberating on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, and on Saturday, October 5, 2024, found him guilty of Deadly Conduct. The judge will decide the sentencing date for Mr. Taylor on October 15, 2024.
On March 10, 2021, Mr. Taylor was indicted for the offenses of Murder and Deadly Conduct in the death of Mauris DeSilva, 46, on July 31, 2019.
